the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. kean will not be sacked by Venkys due to fan pressure. That has been proved. Why not try something different - try forgetting the manager for the next home game, which is arguably one of the most important games in recent history. Try getting behind the team no matter how dreadful they are and being the 12th man. Just like the stoke fans today who famously make the Britannia a difficult away stadium due to their unrelenting support.

I predict that Kean will be gone before January, but it won't be due to fan protests. The owners simply can't give into protestors otherwise a precedent is set whereby the next time the fans don't like something, they think let's just start some protests and get rid. Thats just not goin to happen.

I want Kean out as much as the next man, but I strongly believe the survival of Rovers in the Premier League takes priority over in game protests.

Kean is now exposed as totally useless having failed against teams who lost their last 12 games but there are many managers who could play better football. If there was bit of light today watching Stoke it was a reminder of how bad football was to watch under BS and we must move forward from that with a new manager? There is talk of a boycott for the Swansea game. The plan would be to still go down to Ewood, but not enter the ground.

Also, a lot of the yellow shirts have been sold with the slogan being; 100% Rovers, 0% Venky's and Kean.

I have never known a mood like this in my time as a fan (37 years) I fear things could turn ugly next week though, especially if we lose to Cardiff.

What are your thoughts on possible protests?

If they are not "outright owners", then the other shareholders will be named in the Articles and Memorandum of Association and we can find out who is named on those documents. Whoever are the owners are the owners - the ones named on the legal documentation. If Venky's are named, then they are the outright owners - end of. Your theory is beginning to sound more and more woolly.

the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. kean will not be sacked by Venkys due to fan pressure. That has been proved. Why not try something different - try forgetting the manager for the next home game, which is arguably one of the most important games in recent history. Try getting behind the team no matter how dreadful they are and being the 12th man. Just like the stoke fans today who famously make the Britannia a difficult away stadium due to their unrelenting support.

I predict that Kean will be gone before January, but it won't be due to fan protests. The owners simply can't give into protestors otherwise a precedent is set whereby the next time the fans don't like something, they think let's just start some protests and get rid. Thats just not goin to happen.

I want Kean out as much as the next man, but I strongly believe the survival of Rovers in the Premier League takes priority over in game protests.

Where do we go from here? Kean out - a quality manager in to give everyone a boost. If the Venkys cannot deliver this then they should sell ASAP or return the club to the Walker family in the short term for at least some professional management.

I'm not a Rovers fan, just an interested observer, but if some one were telling me "i'm not a true supporter" unless I follow a certain course of action, that would be the very thing that would stop me doing it. I'm sure all rovers fans have the best interests of the club at heart, but who the hell is glen9, or anyone, to tell others they're not "true supporters"?

Wrong! Turn up and protest. Show unity, show loyalty for BRFC, For Jack Walkers legacy. Show your contempt for those who are killing our club for personal gain. I disagree; I don't think Rovers will go down, actually. It looks gloomy at the moment but we're not half way through the season yet. There's many more twists and turns to come so please don't give up so early on. Kean IS a good manager but he's been hit by blows such as not having enough money to compete for the best players out there, injuries, misfortune and then once the crowd turn, there's no way back. The crowd are actively looking for confirmation bias to back their own made-up minds and that transmits itself to the players and affects team performance. One good result, and it will come, will change things. It's a pity the good result over Arsenal didn't act as more of a wake-up call.

I wish i knew. Id do anything to sort this mess out but i honestly think the protesting/plane/cha nting has done more harm than good. I think our best hope is that they sell up to qatar. Wonder if they turn up on saturday to watch their "baby" in the most important game for years
