Yes we battled and got lucky “for once” with 10 men in the 6th minute of injury time but Kean’s record is now 6 wins in 34 games and only one win this season – WILY COYOTE often looks good but he always finds a way to fail – that I am afraid is Kean in a nutshell!

I think the worst performance over 90 mins of the last 3 or 4 games. We played 4-5-1 but didn't get control of midfield and Yak was isolated. Seemed to miss all 3 of Samba, Lowe and Olsson. Dunny was off the pace but was unlucky with the 2nd yellow. We were actually better with 10 men and the 2nd half was one of the weirdest I've seen. Ped's cheeky (or is that cheaty) taking the corner to himself was a first for me. Robbo's bravery in the Wigan box atoning for being at fault for their 3rd.

So worried when I thought Roberts was going to take the pen, fortunately Yak was as cool as can be. He really should have had a hat-trick today.

Positive side: I thought Henley looked very solid and confident - another prospect. Pedersen involved in the game (my man of match) and unlucky to see his 35 yard free-kick hit the post. Team spirit.

Negative side: not good without possession first half - not closing down enough. Dann lost his man for their second. Dunny off the pace. Robbo poor for 2nd goal. Tactics needed changing sooner.

Another lost opportunity! If we cannot stop Wigan from scoring 3 what chance do we have. I will tell you, with this nutter, none at all. Again we let in 3 goals and against the worst scoring team in the league.
Obviously Kean is unable to organise a defence. Can you remember back to BFSams first game in charge when the defence changed within days of him taking over and we won against Stoke. Kean will never, ever, make a good manager. He is too deluded and lacking in technical ability. What is the point of bringing on Roberts, for goodness sake, when we have the present scottish striker on the bench.
Take us out of our misery. Someone take him of to the funny farm. We are almost at the point where it will take a wondeful run of form to just catch up with mid table. This deluded nut thinks everything is fine so there is no chance of him altering things. He was talking about a top 10 finish before this game.

Totally disagree! Robbo  made some world class saves today. All credit to the lads in the 2nd half cause they dug in .... With 10 men.. And with ....Anti Kean and Venky's chants. On todays evidence "every chance", or "certainly". As he's so intent on explaining everything with positiveness, how about "on this display we can be positive Rovers will be in the Championship next season".

It isn't even about today. It's about the fact that Keans record (stretching back a year now, hardly knee-jerk) is absolutely diabolical. And incredibly is getting WORSE. Already the official worst manager in Premier League history, it's looking like kit-man Kean is setting a record that will take some beating. Let's face it, most owners would never let it go on this long.

Venkys were there today (at least for the first half). They saw the complete shambles, they heard the MAJORITY of fans calling Kean out and Venkys out. If they truly do "care for the fans" and that Rovers "is their baby", then Kean has to go.

If he doesn't go, then they surely must want us to be relegated. Nothing else makes sense at this point.

On a positive note, young Adam Henley made a quite promising debut imo. Got tested quite a bit by Wigan on that side, but seemed to handle himself well and wasn't fazed considering he was an emergency replacement.

Pedersen also looking like he did under Big Sam, ie, solid and dependable. Very unlucky with his free-kick. Yak also looking a decent aquisition.

Yep. As Rovers fans these days we have to savour the few small positives we get in defeat each week.

Spot on! They definitely have an agenda which is geared to something other than the success of BRFC. Lots of decisions made during the last 12 months that make no sense whatsoever. The rush to sack Allardyce, the deliberate sidelining of John Williams, the appointment of a totally untried manager, and negative investment in the transfer market. I could go on. Only radical changes have any chance of saving the club now and I don't believe this lot have any intention of doing the right thing.

I Don't remmeber any world class saves? I know he may have seen them late but both first 2 goals were from a mile out and you'd expect most other keepers to at least make an effort.

I hope that as the Venkys have seen and understood the problems that the club have both on and off the field and they will now move swiftly to replace Kean. Although unpleasant it was important that the Venkys received some stick at today's game.

I'm with you on that appraisal. Why bring back salgado when lowe had been playing so well in that position. We play a top team like chelsea and nearly get something from it. Our best centre back with Samba out has been givet so why move him too and with Kean saying how well the players played against chelsea, why change it against a p1ss poor wigan side? I have more pace than salgado and bringing in dunn, well what happened to him is self explanatory. He just cannot get there in time, challenges are late and he puts pressure on his own teamates by giving away stupid free kicks.
I gave Pilkington a chance but Wigan are dogsh1t so he needs to go so we still have time to get someone in.
What about lee clarke, he's just broken the undefeated games record kept by Nottingham Forrest in the days of Brian Clough, or even Nigel clough. One thing is for certain. If I took over the managers job I would have a better win ratio than this soggy biscuit.

I'm with you on that appraisal. Why bring back salgado when lowe had been playing so well in that position. We play a top team like chelsea and nearly get something from it. Our best centre back with Samba out has been givet so why move him too and with Kean saying how well the players played against chelsea, why change it against a p1ss poor wigan side? CDG - Lowe was suspended today so I think SK felt he had to play Salgado but its got embarassing to see a once great player now so out of his depth at this level. I can only think his legs have gone as he is so far off the pace he makes Dunny look like speedy gonzalez !

On a positive note, young Adam Henley made a quite promising debut imo. Got tested quite a bit by Wigan on that side, but seemed to handle himself well and wasn't fazed considering he was an emergency replacement.

Pedersen also looking like he did under Big Sam, ie, solid and dependable. Very unlucky with his free-kick. Yak also looking a decent aquisition.

I suspect that Steve Kean is probably the lowest paid manager in the Premier League, which explains why Blackburn are bottom of the Premier League. I saw somewhere he was being paid £350,00; surely the going rate is closer to £1,000,000 for top manager. I also suspect that the Venkys are simply not prepared to pay enough money to attract a manager who can het the club out of this mess. Really the Venkys should give someone else a chance who has the resources and inclination to invest enough money to avoid relegation. I think the Venkys want to do everything on the cheap.

The truth is a change of manager has now to be made. This was a must win game against the bottom of the league who had lost their last 8 games and despite the gift horse of an 1st minute goal we could have been 4 or 5 down by half time. Yes we battled and got lucky “for once” with 10 men in the 6th minute of injury time but Kean’s record is now 6 wins in 34 games and only one win this season – WILY COYOTE often looks good but he always finds a way to fail – that I am afraid is Kean in a nutshell!

Well, it is good now that the Kean Zealot's have finally decided to look at the evidence that has been staring them in the face for 12 months.

I've not gone in for any of the "conspiracy theories" regarding asset stripping - i need to see hard evidence - though i i feel for and share the concerns of those fans that suspect something sinister is taking place behind the scenes.

However, hard evidence is on the pitch and in the league tables - LAST SEASON - as well as this season.

I think in a lot of ways what is happening at BRFC is symptomatic of of football in general - the utter breath taking arrogance of the Venky's, Kean, Jason Roberts and other media pundits towards the protesting fans is truly despicable and shame on those Rovers fans that have taken part in that sordid behavior.

BFS,sacking was the worst thing that could have happend at that time for club and fans regardless of the football being played,but i bit my tongue,not for long though i dont think i was to far behind yourselves after, the venky snake charmers for me was the turning point,alot of talk with fork tongue just like now,like you i was inthe sights of the mudflinging, thats done now time to move on and upwards fingers crossed keans on his way out.

I am not so sure about that. The abuse these people showed towards the true fans of this club was despicable: they showed the same contemptuous contempt and arrogant disdain as Kean and the venky;'s have been doing for 12 months. I DON'T THINK WE SHOULD FORGET THAT. I was with the Venky's and Kean up until the Manchester City game, infact i posted long eloquent defences regarding their tenure but that changed after i became alarmed at the amount of goals being conceded and the utter breath taking disdain shown towards the protesters by Kean and his followers. The final straw with regards the Venky's was the "Kean is a brilliant manger" statement - these people calculate their arrogance and direct it with precision - their very small minority of followers are the same.

Respectfully sir, there have always been a few of us who knew from the get go that Kean could be a disastrous appointment. Fast forward to the end of the season. I remember being on here in the summer and there were still only a few of us calling for Keans head. In my view he dragged our club to the verge of relegation, with only Big Sams points keeping us up in the end. I and the few others who had the foresight to see what was coming were roundly slated for daring to criticise our manager. Amazingly he even had staunch defenders during his drink drive arrest. Thankfully now everyone is on board. Ultimately, I care more about BRFC then being proved right, so all I want is unity from the fans to get this arrogant little man out of our club. If he doesn't go, then we must do our best to get Venkys out. Unless anyone's prepared to watch us in the Championship next season and slide even further we have no other choice. 100% for the players 0% for golden-boy Kean and Venkys -D.K.O

BFS,sacking was the worst thing that could have happend at that time for club and fans regardless of the football being played,but i bit my tongue,not for long though i dont think i was to far behind yourselves after, the venky snake charmers for me was the turning point,alot of talk with fork tongue just like now,like you i was inthe sights of the mudflinging, thats done now time to move on and upwards fingers crossed keans on his way out.

Rubbish Alfa - Sacking BS is about the only great thing Venky's have done to date as we should have never brought the DEVIL's hoofball to the SACRED home of BRFC. But as regards their plan to follow...well.....!!

That day that Big Sam was sacked, although the timing was bizarre, I actually welcomed what I thought was a very bold and progressive move. Venkys were talking about splashing the cash and I fully supported the notion of bringing an exciting managerial appointment in to set pulses racing and to embark on a spending spree.

If I'd known they were just going to give the job to a kit-man downstairs then I would NEVER have supported Big Sam being done in.

If they had some sort of personal issue with Sam then I really don't understand why they didn't seek out a proper replacement first THEN get rid of Sam.

Appointing Steve Kean (lest not forget, he wasn't even number 2 at the club) is and has been proved to be a ludicrous decision. Sticking by him at the end of the season as he virtually singlehandedly almost got us relegated? Also ludicrous.

But to stick with Kean STILL at this point, who can only count his victories on one hand after a whole year in charge? INSANE.

It is either that or there is a corrupt motive at work. No matter which of these reasons, I can no longer support Venkys.

Yep if we could only turn the clock back 12months now, knowing what SK and venkys have done im sure 99% of fans would gladly take that 10th spot under BFS as amove forward probably europe calling, but we will never know now.One thing for sure if these lot dont move to get sk out and amassive change from venkys now we will not be in the PL next year

Agreed. But there are still some LOONS on here, that still think we are better off under the present regime. Unbelievable, but true. If anyone seriously believes that we are better off now, than we were a year ago, then they need the same psychiatric help, as that of the owners and manager.
