Tell them that in the heat of the moment you made a mistake, just like the ref did in awarding that dodgy penalty against N'Zonzi. If the ref is going to get away with his 'mistake' which could ultimately cost the club it's top flight status, then in the interests of justice your 'mistake' must also go unpunished, as your employer has already been punished enough by the FA's employee's incompetance.

Just as an aside, could Bobby Mimms be a factor in our poor defensive record. When he used to replace Terry Gennoe in goals I always panicked. How is he now a goalkeeping coach?

he was average at best, but what use is an average goalkeeper?

would we have won the league with mimms in goal instead of flowers-NO.

but ive always liked him, didnt realise he was one of keans lapdogs though.

Well if you made as many mistakes as he did you should certainly know what to do about them.

Yes and I'm afraid it will keep happening. You hear the top club managers stating it's swings and round-abouts but that only applies to them the small club always gets the thin end of the stick

Can't believe some of the nonsense on here...

Mimms was an excellent keeper for us, and holds our record for most clean sheets in a season. As oracle says, he didn't play in the full members cup though.

He has been at Rovers since Ince brought him in, and has played a big part in helping Paul Robinson back to his very best. He is a very highly rated and respected GK coach, and Kenny wanted him at Liverpool.

I was surprised by this story, as at the end of the game, I saw Ian Brunskill screaming in the refs face - I was sure he'd be in trouble. Didn't notice Bobby doing ewt.

Like I said earlier I always thought him a decent keeper,Vince o,keefe who had a outstanding full members cup game, was the one I always felt nervous with when he was in goal, the same with John Butcher in Pickerings managerial reign.

Tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine Bobby. Are they using video evidence? Inadmissible, if we cant use it to review bad refereeing decisions then they cant use it either. Then its just your word against the match official. Case closed.
