KEEPING A WATCHFUL EYE Radosav Petrovic stays close to Fulham striker Clint Dempsey
BLACKBURN Rovers picked up their first Premier League point of the season at Fulham - but were left counting the cost of several injuries to key players.
The game struggled to burst into life at Craven Cottage, but there was an early penalty shout from Bobby Zamora when he picked up Scott Dann's loose ball and looked to have been bundled over in the box.
Rovers took the lead on 32 minutes when Ruben Rochina found time and space to launch a thumping shot in off the underside of the crossbar.
However, Blackburn's advantage lasted just six minutes. Gael Givet was found guilty of poor defending as Zamora took control of the ball before firing past Paul Robinson into the far corner.
Rovers were left counting the cost of injuries in the second-half, with Chris Samba failing to come out after the interval and David Dunn being substituted.
As the second half wore on, Fulham became the likelier to score, and Paul Robinson was in fine form to make great stops from Danny Murphy and, later on, Clint Dempsey.
A bad injury to Junior Hoilett late on meant there was 10 minutes of stoppage time.
