aye but what do we do about .... that is our imminent concern.
Do we sit back and tootle down to ewood till the end of the season, further lining the pockets of the agent saboteurs or do we fight the chicken plucking leeches on the beaches ....

People need to start boycotting games, thats the only chance we have of ousting them. Fair enough with the protests but what have they achieved, nothing at all, oh hold on a renewed contract for Steve Kean. I think some of the players have to shoulder some of the responsibility - they are just showing that they have no backbone amongst them. They would just rather leave and say nothing as none of them care about the club, only about the wages. And I see one of our home grown Dunn has just been given a nice coaching role, so I am waiting for him to come out and have a go at the fans again.

It isn't a forgone conclusion we are down. We have massive games against QPR, Wolves, Wigan, Sunderland, Norwich and Bolton all of which we can take points off. I accept its an uphill task but as they say "Is not over till the fat lady sings!"

spot-on dally......until the maths says otherwise we ARE a prem club still. Cant argue with the folks that have given them up as its one load of rubbish after another and almost every day there is more bad news.....but fight the good fight while we can!

Sadly Guys if my memory and maths serve me correctly, in the first fixture this season against these 6 sides we managed 3 points out of a possible 18, and as we have not really improved since these fixtures it definitely takes a huge leap of faith to hope for better this time around. Remember the six massive must win games before Christmas!

How hard would it be for Venkys to just release a statement. Apologise profusely, lay a bit into Kean and say he isnt safe, tell us if they have no cash, tell us that they will inject cash or set a date for selling the club...

It would have totally kept me onside if they did that a few months ago, companies underestimate on takovers, it happens, just be honest with us.

I dont even care anymore its got that bad, i expect to lose every game its that brutal, we have some of the weakest players in the prem, petrovic, pedersen has been so poor for years now, andrews was by far the worst so glad we sold that donut, qpr will beat us, simply coz, mark hughes is a winner aand they have more spirit than us and we cant win at ewood to save our lives

I used to be frustrated, then angry, and now the situation at ewood is so bad, what with ex players/directors etc stating what we already suspected.

Aye, like more and more commentators on these pages, I have to agree I've just given up. Sorry protestors and optimists about 'we can still stay up' - good for you I say, but for me life is too short to waste another drop of energy on Blackburn Rovers.

The problem is, the more you care, the more it hurts - every time we are lied to, every time a promise is broken, every time a newspaper criticises the fans, every time a good player is sold or let go, and yes, every time we lose.

Just cant go on spending large parts of the weeks and months feeling sh*tty because of what is after all only a football club.

I used to love going to Rovers, it was part of my life growing up - me, my dad and grandad going to every game, talking about it after and through the week in between games, friendly banter about footy with friends & colleagues. Very very happy memories, but thats all they are now unfortunately.

Spot on....forget FR and the other Kean PR brigade. The fact is Kean lost the dressing room months ago (that's if he ever had it in the first place), nobody wants to play for the man - least of all Samba. The clueless woman in India should not only be removed from the management of Rovers but also from her poultry empire if this is the way she operates. Perhaps Kean has convinced her that a 7-1 stuffing is a new grade of chicken??

Message for Venkys.....dip into your own pockets....pay of this parasite scum you employed as manager....boot out his pathetic agent.....bring in Neil Warnock.....and finally....stay out of his business and football related matters!!!!! GLOBAL PR DISASTER
Venky’s purchase of Blackburn Rovers has left them with a global PR disaster.
If the Rao family (picture above) plan was to put Venky’s on the map using football it has worked beyond their wildest imagination. What they did not envisage however was that it would be such a total disaster. Venky’s did not realise the publicity power owning a Premiership club would bring, to leave a mess at Blackburn Rovers would be a global public relations disaster, it would destroy the credibility of an entire region in India and those at its helm.
They have to make a go of it. But are failing to do so as BLACKBURN ROVERS plummet into free fall and out of the BARCLAYS PREMIERSHIP and into oblivion.
As protests at their ownership are broadcast worldwide through television, radio and newspapers their brand name is associated with failure.
As VENKY’S look to open more fast food outlets throughout the UK,USA, Europe and the subcontinent the brand name is tainted.
Venky’s means Blackburn Rovers through the eyes of the consumer and Blackburn Rovers means failure, simple as.
Venky’s reluctance to invest with substantial finance in Blackburn Rovers by appointing an experienced and creditable manager and signing good players poses the question WHY DID THEY BUY THE CLUB?
It has done them nothing but harm.
Unlike Sheik Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nayhan, owner of Manchester City whose plan to put Abu Dhabi on the map using football has worked beyond all wildest imagination. What it means though is that those who smugly predict that one day Sheik Mansour will tire of his toy and depart, leaving City with an unsustainable business model and on the brink of collapse, could not be more wrong.
Abu Dhabi could not quit on City now even if it wanted to, its image and those of its worldwide business interests would destroy all their credibility. They have to make a go of it and Sheik Mansour knows it, unlike the Venky’s.

you don't call him parasite scum mate, that is completely irrational. Good football manager he is not but nor is he parasite scum. And if you think bringing in Neil Warnock will give us a much better chance of winning matches you're on your way to being as clueless as Venkys.

Nothing irrational or untrue about the description referring to kean as parasitic scum. A parasite lives by taking from a host, in this case kean (parasite) Rovers (host), another term for host is victim. Kean wallows in the self-deluded glow of being in the top flight of football. he blames everyone for his faults and mistakes, except himself
And on your second point ,do you honestly think warnock would do worse than kean has. I'm no fan of warnock, but at least he knows about football management. There has been precious little honesty, with local mp's focussing on kean bad-mouthing supporters. Anderson has tried to besmirch the name of fans by making shrouded allegations on a tv interview, and it must be him behind the ridiculous situation of the weekly suppression of freedom of speech on this site. The LT has not even offered a rationale for this action or a statement justifying the need. Nothing is put on the forum on a weekend that different to postings during the rest of the week, therefore it has to be a pathetic attempt at flexing muscles and in actuality worsening the situation between long standing genuine supporters of the club, or,( because of there 'don't give a ****' attitude) the present owners.
I have just read about Wolves sacking there manager.... perhaps the venkys think that a manager is for life not just christmas!!!!
