However, previous to that (in November) he did call for Kean to be sacked.

Those were the kind of players we liked at the club, unlike todays arrogant millionaire's... still - enjoyed winning the PL. ;-)

I concur with that...regardless of whether the decision was right or wrong that was no way to treat Tony Parkes for what he did for the club. Then again I think MH has shown his true colours since.

I think Tony Parkes is wrong, I feel really positive about the rest of the season and think the players can hold their heads high together with all the management and owners of BRFC. I am also a compulsive liar and a convicted drink driver.

Our problem is, that even if Venky's sacked Kean, which quality manager would come and work for them? Who would fly to Pune every month, who would work under their bizzare working practices... no management structure and restrictions on which players can play. I fear we're stuck with Mr Kean who will be still saying this time next year... "we're looking to bounce straight back into the Championship, the dressing room are together and behind me, we need to stay positive, the boys have played well all season, these are exciting times for Blackburn Rovers, the owners are fully committed to me, they love the club!"

John Lewis left the good folk of this town the museum for all their efforts in building the trade that this town become renown for. This is what the late J. Walker did for it's football club and the good folk who supported it.

What the hell is wrong with that and, that someone can come and take a wrecking ball to it with little or no regard for it ? Do these people not realize that kicking 30,000 people in the gonads is only going to create an adverse reaction ? Care they may not but, they will understand that this will not be done with attempts at positive spin alone. What we want to see and, moreover, demand that our club is put back into a stable position.

We are in a unique position in that we can shout from the rooftops without much recrimination as individuals but, as as come to pass and, as a group of supporters we have become demonized with what we collectively have said.

Tony Parkes coming out before full facts are evident would see him crucified and, more than likely isolated from further comment on his part ?

Timing is everything, I would surmise ? The momentum is growing and I see a "positive", realistic end to that which engulfs our club. That is what we have all been shouting for as supporters - now we have some weight with the likes of Tony Parkes issuing damning comments.

I feel "positive" if that's the right phrase !! He-he :)

Agreed.

Take Andy Cryer. He works for a paper and has his responsibilities to his ''boss'' who ever that is, let's say the editor. If the editor gives him the remit to go out and investigate and dig the dirt and then dish it, he will.

Cryer also has to be diplomatic as if he is not and upsets Kean et al, they will just feed him even more rubbish or simply isolate him.

I'm not a big fan of the LT but they did some good studd: Kean must go" and "Hans off our fans".

I felt momentum was beginning to build at that point but then the LT seemed to take its foot off the pedal.

As for the rest of the pundits etc.. they're all mates, aren't they? It's a boys club, isn't it?

They will be careful what they say; they know each other, maybe are friends, have the same agents, sponsors and are probably sleeping with each other's wives.

Your absolutely correct in that assessment. When one begins to think outside the box the real consequence begins to emerge not just for BRFC but, the wider footballing community.

Struggle is part and parcel of life and dealing with this is an accepted part of what makes something grow into a success but, only if their is a will and commitment and, thus far these people have shown very little by way of that, in my opinion ?

Regardless of bitter local rivalry support for the greater good of our national game should see them stand together ?

This situation, contrary to what some would like to believe, is not what BRFC supporters deserve. We all know the rules of the game and, being relegated is an aspect we all accept, but being taken down is a whole different ball game and, any supporter worth their salt is not going to stand there and watch it saying nothing.

Bring it on next season for their is much at stake for our both clubs history and that is priceless. You just don't buy that it's earned.

Your absolutely correct in that assessment. When one begins to think outside the box the real consequence begins to emerge not just for BRFC but, the wider footballing community.

Struggle is part and parcel of life and dealing with this is an accepted part of what makes something grow into a success but, only if their is a will and commitment and, thus far these people have shown very little by way of that, in my opinion ?

Regardless of bitter local rivalry support for the greater good of our national game should see them stand together ?

This situation, contrary to what some would like to believe, is not what BRFC supporters deserve. We all know the rules of the game and, being relegated is an aspect we all accept, but being taken down is a whole different ball game and, any supporter worth their salt is not going to stand there and watch it saying nothing.

Bring it on next season for their is much at stake for our both clubs history and that is priceless. You just don't buy that it's earned.

Sure. Every football fan in the country should be concerned at what the Venky's, Anderson, SEM/Kentaro and the lickspittle Kean have done - this is a pantomime that could be visiting a club near you soon.

Fans should also be disgusted at the way fellow fans (Rovers fans) have been smeared and blamed by the corporate cliques.

This is supposed to be the people's game but the corporate media have blamed the people (Rovers fans) and turned other people (other fans) against us - this is classic divide and rule tactics.

I was that incensed enough to go down to the LET offices and, spoke with A Cryers sidekick in that I wanted them to come with down to Ewood and witness me giving my S/T back until Kean retracted the statement.

Guess what - A Cryer spoke with me and said, he has literally just retracted on the comment and, as is usual, he had been misquoted !

And that was before the Cardiff debacle. That my friend put paid to any support I had left. I watched our team that night down at Cardiff because silly me believed we had a real good chance of progressing but, after watching it and, before his 'Forfeit' comment was a puzzlement as to his selection that evening ? Only when he opened his gob with that comment did it become apparent that this guy was spitting in my face and, dismissing something very special for all supporters.

His line was that we had more important games ahead after the 'Forfeit' gaff but, hey, as we all know it made not a jot of chuffing difference in the end.

Now anyone tell me that what he did was "positive" ?

Kean is travelling to meet his lover Desai on Wednesday. If he was going to be sacked they would not be calling him in for a face to face meeting.

The Venkys need to complete a massive u-turn to make the club successful. Appoint an experience CEO and management structure to run the club, give them the power to make decisions. Appoint an experienced manager, and allow them to manage without continuous interference.

Without wanting to sound too philosophical I think there are some basic truths about business and life that underpin what's happened and continues to happen.

One of the key arts of management is sales. Not in the sense of peddling your wares but in that in order for anyone to progress or effect change they must sell their ideas. Selling is all about getting your ideas adopted or approved. End of.

You cannot sell something to somebody whether it's a product, service or idea with first of all having the ability to build rapport with your prospect/customer.

Rapport is key as its the thing that creates an understanding. The best sales people sell themselves and ideas. Ideas that demonstrate thr benefit the client can expect to enjoy/gain from being a customer.

To build rapport you must have a degree of empathy with your prospect (this does not mean being soft!) and you build rapport to make sure they get to KNOW, LIKE and TRUST you.

Many Rovers fans (and it would seem members of the management and players) gave Venkys and Kean a chance. They tried to get to know them, but they didn't want to reciprocate. This for some (eg J Williams) decided they didn't like what they saw at an early stage and couldn't trust. It took done fans a little longer to figure this out and then the majority longer still.

The upshot of it all is that Venkys (with or without Kean) will never achieve rapport with the supporters or the community in Blackburn. They had their chance to build solid relations and get 'known' properly (not cancelling forums and trips to attend games as small examples). Now instead they are faced with being hated rather than liked and are totally mistrusted. They only have themselves to blame and they have left themselves an impossible hill to climb.
