Residents are being asked to give their views on Redbridge council’s revised gambling policy.
The policy, which sets out how gambling premises are managed, is updated every three years.
The updated version includes a new section on the need to monitor the rise in betting shops in more deprived areas of the borough.
Other updates include information on the issue of gambling nationally and guidelines on who can submit an application to review a gambling premise.
Residents and businesses can comment on the revised strategy before it is finalised. Consultation closes on May 24
