STANLEY boss John Coleman could claim yet another award after being nominated for the League Two manager of the month prize for April.

The Reds chief has claimed the honour in each of the last two months and is on the shortlist again after guiding his side to promotion and the League Two title.

Stanley collected 16 points from seven games in April including a home win over Yeovil Town which clinched a place in League One next season, and the weekend victory over Lincoln City which sealed the fourth tier title.

Coleman has also been named League Two Manager of the Year this term while striker Billy Kee and midfielder Sean McConville were included in the team of the year.

The Wham Stadium chief is one of four bosses in the running for the monthly gong as he seeks a hat-trick of victories.

Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth is nominated after his side secured automatic promotion with 10 points from five games.

Luton Town chief Nathan Jones saw his team collect 13 points from five games to ensure a second place finish and a place in the shortlist while Grimsby Town chief Michael Jolley, formerly boss of Burnley Under-23s, is included after steering his side to safety with a run of 10 points from five games.

The winners will be announced on Friday.

There are no Stanley players in the shortlist for the player of the month award.

Stevenage striker Alex Revell, Grimsby midfielder Mitch Rose, Exeter City frontman Jayden Stockley and Barnet man Dan Sweeney are the quartet in the running.
