Accrington Stanley striker Billy Kee, with 22 goals this term, has been shortlisted for the League Two player of the year award.

He will compete with Mohamed Eisa (Cheltenham) and Adebayo Akinfenwa (Wycombe) who have netted 20 and 17 respectively.

Manager John Coleman scooped the manager prize after leading Stanley to the top of League Two.

Midfielder Sean McConville, along with Kee, were included in the team of the year.

McConville has played a starring role for Stanley, scoring 11 times from midfield, as well as being a creative force supplying the likes of Kee and Kayden Jackson.

Kee will learn whether he has won the main prize at the EFL awards on Sunday, April 15.
