ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman insists none of his star players will be leaving the club during the January transfer window.

The Reds climbed back into third spot in the League Two table with a 2-0 win at Cheltenham Town on Saturday.

Strike duo Billy Kee and Kayden Jackson got the goals for Stanley and after the game Coleman reiterated the club's stance that no key men will be departing the Wham Stadium this month.

Asked if the front pair would be attracting interested the Reds boss said: "If I was a manager in the lower leagues or going up higher they would certainly be coming on my radar. But they are not going anywhere."

Kee leads the fourth tier charts in terms of goals and assists combined but Coleman felt there plenty of pleasing performances in the win over the Robins.

"I thought he (Kee) was fantastic today, I thought Liam Nolan got back to the heights he hit earlier in the season, he was everywhere in the second half. Kayden was a big threat off Billy's shoulder. There were some very pleasing performances."

With just two points separating Stanley in third from Swindon in ninth, Coleman is all too aware of the importance of maintaining his side's recent run of form which stands at three straight wins.

"We've got to kick on and take every opportunity," he added. "Because the league is so tight, if you can do your own business then you will get boosts because everyone can't win because there are so many teams in and around there."

Of the game itself Coleman added: "We got the goal and I thought we were quite comfortable.

"In the second half we got the second goal, had two chances to make it three, didn't take them and then we rode our luck.

"But you get the rub of the green when you are on the front foot and when you take the game to the opposition and I thought we did that.

"If anything let us down it was probably our passing, we were a little bit loose. When Cheltenham gambled and committed men forward we could have picked them off and got three or four but that would have flattered us."
