BLACKBURN Rovers have been handed a testing FA Youth Cup third round draw at Arsenal.

Rovers, who reached the semi-finals of last season's competition before losing over two legs to Chelsea, will visit the other losing semi-finalist of last season in the Gunners.

Rovers reached the final in 2012 while Arsenal have not made the showpiece since 2009 when they lifted the trophy.

The tie is a repeat of the 2001 final which the Gunners won 6-3 on aggregate.

Meanwhile Burnley will host either Bradford City or Boston United in round two.

The majority of round two ties have yet to take place with Bradford and Boston facing each other on Tuesday.

Accrington Stanley travel to Morecambe in round two on Wednesday with the winners travelling to either Shrewsbury Town or Rochdale in round three.

Dates for the third round ties have yet to be confirmed.
