JOHN Coleman is expecting to be without injured trio Terry Gornell, Tom Davies and Dean Winnard for tonight’s visit of Yeovil.

Davies was absent for Saturday’s 3-0 win at Crawley with a knee injury, Gornell was named on the bench after struggling with his ankle while Winnard went off injured.

“It’s just a wait and see process. It’s more of a time thing really but I’m not confident of any of them being fit,” said the Stanley boss.

“I think it’s a bit of sciatica with Dean to be honest. He’s struggling with a hamstring but I think it’s back related. We’re preparing that they’re not going to be fit and if they are it’s a bonus.”

Coleman is now monitoring the loan market for defensive reinforcements, although he was not expecting to make any signings in time for tonight’s game.

“We’ve got a good squad that’s capable of absorbing the problems that we’ve got, but if we get too many more we probably won’t be able to absorb them, so we might have to look at dipping into the loan market,” he said. “It won’t be for (tonight) but in the medium term we might have to look at bringing another defender in.”
