ACCRINGTON Stanley will borrow a phrase from Real Madrid when they sport a ‘decima’ badge on their new shirt to mark their 10th season back in the Football League.
Stanley were promoted from the Conference in 2006 and the word ‘decima’ will feature on this season’s shirts – a Spanish phrase meaning ‘tenth’.

The phrase ‘La Decima’ became synonymous with Real Madrid’s bid to secure their 10th European Cup triumph, which finally arrived in Lisbon a year ago.
Stanley will wear their new home kit for the first time when they host Blackburn Rovers in a friendly tomorrow.
The badge was designed by Stanley fan Matt Osborne and will also be added to their yellow and blue away kit, which will continue to be in use this season.
