ACCRINGTON Stanley went out of the FA Cup in the first round this afternoon with defeat at League One side Notts County.

The hosts went in front through Karl Hawley in the 34th minute and former Blackburn Rovers midfielder Alan Judge made it 2-0 two minutes after the interval.

Andy Procter, making his return from a ban for five bookings, was then sent off for a professional foul on Hawley just after the hour mark.

Alan Sheehan added a third for Notts County with 11 minutes left and, although Luke Joyce pulled a goal back six minutes later, Hawley scored his second of the game to round off the victory for the home side.

Stanley: Sean Murdoch, Dean Winnard, Andy Procter, Sean Hessey, Kevin McIntyre, Luke Joyce, Bryan Hughes (Luke Dobie 77), Micah Evans, Charlie Barnett (Tom Bender 54), Danny Coid (Padraig Amond 54), Jayden Stockley. Subs not used: Jamie Speare, Leam Richardson, Marcus Carver.
