Accrington Stanley Blog: Let's keep our run going

Cheltenham are no mugs and they will certainly be at the top end of the table come the end of the season, which made Saturday’s 3-0 demolition of them by Stanley all the sweeter.
To go away from home against an unbeaten team on the back of a home defeat cannot have been easy for our young squad.
Paul Cook and Leam Richardson have built a tough team. The return of Rommy Boco to the Crown Ground was a master stroke and if the Clayton End legend can play anything like his best we are in for some entertaining football.
So three wins from four, three clean sheets and Stanley sit joint second in the table – a brilliant start to the season in anyone’s book.
But tonight is the biggest challenge so far as we take on Morecambe and look to continue our decade of dominance over the Shrimps.
The cup may be a distraction for some and while the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy is not the most glamorous of competitions we must get behind the Reds at home and start to swell the gate numbers if we are to continue to play at this level.
Whatever the result tonight it will be another chance to renew friendships with our old adversaries over a pint in the Crown – something we have been doing for more than 15 years.
