Accrington Stanley match called off

ACCRINGTON Stanley's League Two fixture at home to Rotherham United tonight has been postponed.

Accrington had been hit by heavy rainfall and it was decided 10 minutes before kick-off that the Crown Ground playing surface was unplayable.

A real shame for anyone who turned out last night, even more so any Yorkies that made the trip but that rain was something else last night. I feel rather guilty because it means that I can now make the rearranged game, as I could not make it last night. So that ancient dance I did last night actually worked.
