PADIHAM are third in the North West Counties Premier Division after securing victory at Stone Dominoes on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came three minutes before half time when a half-cleared corner from Joe Garvin ended up at the feet of Martin Broderick, who gave Stone keeper Phil Bruce no chance with a shot through a crowded box.
Padiham came close to a second after the interval ut Elliott Dunn was denied by the post.
