NELSON maintained their position at the top of the North West Counties First Division despite being forced to settle for a draw at Daisy Hill.
The Blues held a 100 per cent record before Saturday’s match but fell behind in the 27th minute as Daniel Gregory found the net for Daisy Hill.
They hit back within a minute, though, as Daniel Boyle levelled and led 2-1 10 minutes after half time thanks to a goal from Robert Grimes.
But Daisy Hill claimed a share of the spoils when Jordan James equalised in the 67th minute.
