FRIENDLY: Cheltenham 0, Burnley 4

CHARLIE Austin was again at the double as the Clarets continued their winning pre-season run.

The striker gave Burnley a 31st minute lead with a far post header from Junior Stanislas's delivery.

Two minutes into the second half he made it 2-0 in similar fashion, turning Ross Wallace's inswinging corner past Scott Brown.

Austin would have had a hat-trick of headers had it not been for Brown's save. But left back Joseph Mills reacted quickest to the rebound to tap in his first since arriving on a season-long loan from Reading.

Ross Wallace then wrapped up the win after Cheltenham invited the shot.

The winger was allowed to run through unchallenged, and tucked a low 25-yard effort into the bottom right corner.

Burnley round off their pre-season friendly programme with a trip to Rochdale on Tuesday night.
