Quite right and we had a squad capable of retaining our premier league status last season,and acording to Kean and Venkys capable of a top six finish!!we might have a half decent squad for the championship if we manage to keep the majority of the staff, the big drawback is we will still have a inept ,nomark useless manager in charge midtable finish for me Ihate to say.

I agree. Also, I think the squad last season was more than capable of PL survival. The problem was, and still is, Kean. He is obviously not up to the job. How long will it be until the numpty says; judge me now, this is my team. And how long will it take for some numpty fans to say; lets give him 'till Christmas and all that ****.

As long as conman Kean has ANYTHING to do with this once proud club, our trip to oblivion will gather pace.

Lets not kid ourselves, if we polled all Rovers fans and asked them whether they believe that Kean owns a share of Rovers, i think the emphatic answer would be "YES". All we can hope for then, is that if Shebby is as good as his word, if results don't go our way quickly, that he pushes the shining one upstairs behind a desk.

If, as rumoured, Kean has a minority shareholding in the club, it is still perfectly possible to sack him. Minority ownership and executive positions are two entirely different disciplines.

However the good news is that some Rovers fans and a Preston councilor got together and arranged for the Rovers coffin to be taken across to Blackburn and on the 22nd July it will be taken in a short procession from the Fox and Hounds to the Aqueduct where the Rovers 'burial' will take place amid many pints and much commiserations.

Unfortunately the usual floats and band etc will not be able to be included due to the busy road etc...but at least we can keep one Rovers tradition going.
