Shabby was a pundit presumably paid by tv company...hence Follow the trend Kean out.......shabby is now an employee of the Venky's hence give Kean a chance...more concerning is Andy Cryer's thoughts in today's paper also asking us to give the regime a chance....what's that all about? Has he too been corrupted?
Hello Darener, maybe the penny has dropped with Mr Cryer, he realises that if kean has not been sacked after being at the helm during the worst performance by rovers in living memory then they are very unlikely to sack him and will probably just let his contract expire. This option would be cheaper. Venkys through and through, option cheap. Thats why they have appointed the shabby wedding singer, because he was cheap. Also, what well respected football expert would work under these brainwaves, So Andy has resigned himself to the fact Gollum is staying. So his thinking is, if there is a monkey flying the plane, at least its flying."

Singh confirms boss Steve Kean's position is safe

BLACKBURN Rovers' new global advisor Shebby Singh has confirmed Steve Kean will continue as manager next season and that he will have funds available.

Singh, who will advise owners Venky's from Ewood and help with transfers, also said the club were closing in on a signing.

He said: ""Everyone starts with a clean slate "At this moment it is going to be difficult for the fans to think nothing has changed but we would like to re-group and try to take this team forward.

"I would say we have already discussed terms with a very, very important player, in terms of the characteristics that he can bring.

"We are also in talks with a couple of other players, in terms of striking positions.

"As far as I am concerned and as far as I know funds will available to buy the right sort of characteristics that this team needs."
