BLACKBURN Rovers are making season tickets available for the 2012-13 campaign at last year's prices, by restarting their Early Bird offer.

I looked at some other championship clubs and Hull are at 440 quid for their cheapest ST, while Leeds are at £522. Newly-promoted Sheffield Wednesday adult ST is £365 for earlybird and 412 after. Forest are 370 for existing STs and 392 for new STs. Barnsley are one of the lowest at £335.
Burnley's cheapest ticket is 399 quid - but you can get 50 quid off that price if you buy one in the next two weeks. Their season tickets only went on sale today.
Blackpool had them on at 338 but they are now 384 quid.
Bolton's earlybird offer can be had for 285 with a full price of 319 quid. They say they had sold 11000 season tickets at the end of last week.
Cant see us getting over 8000 ST sold before the season starts personally. Only way that will be any higher is if Kean and Venkys are gone in the next couple of weeks.
Should be some movement on selling the club soon....

I would not attend an open meeting, you only need to see the abuse and threats you get on here for asking a question.
I think you are not being honest with the fans and could do a great deal of damage to the club. Whilst I fully accept that if there has been any wrong doing it should be investigated I feel you should also allow the fans to know the possibility of what action could be taken against BRFC which could affect their league status.
Given the fact the your meetings with MP`s and The FA have been reported in the press you cannot be naive enough to think that the owners are not aware of you making a complaint. They will also be fully aware of the punishments that either the FA or legal system may impose.
One of the many issues with BRFC fans have with the current owners are lack of communication and honesty with regard to the events at Ewood, this leads to the rise of conspiracy theories.
I feel that you are guilty of the same.
There are a lot of fans that cant or wont be able to attend your meeting, fans who do attend may or may not feel to intimidated to raise points.
I feel that you are deliberately failing to communicate to the fans of BRFC the consequences of the actions you are pursuing and that it would affect whoever owns the club.
A precedence for the offence of wrong doing would be the punishment given to Swindon Town.
Regardless of who owns the club relegation double relegation or points loss would not be beneficial to BRFC

But neither would the continuation of the Venky's (Kean) ownership.
I am sure the majoity of BRFC fans would be prepared to put up with any punishment meted out for wrongdoing by the owners, if it meant they were booted out of our club.
All the fans want is the return of a well run, family orientated football club, irrespective of which division we are in.

You are asking the impossible. Nobody can see into the future so how do you expect Glen or anybody else to state what will happen?
All he and the rest can do is to make as much fuss and bother to the relevant authorities stating the case for an investigtion into the running of BFC which we all feel is not being run correctly. Then it is up to the powers that be to do as they think fit.
10:36am Tue 19 Jun 12
A Darener says...
How can you expect Glen or anybody else see into the future and tell us the outcome of their actions. It is up to them to make their and our concerns clear to the relevant authorities so that they can make a decision as to the wrongs or rights of the owners actions. If they think there is a case to answer then they will make that decision. Do the results of that decision, if it means the punishment of BRFC mean we should not try? I think not. But as you say thatis my opinon and others may differ, but we have toget it oted one way or the other.

Have all these Johnny Come Latelys forgotten being stood on the Blackburn end with gates around 6000 watching average to poor football?
If we all walk away now , we,ll be back there faster than you imagine.
Proper supporters do just that SUPPORT through thick and thin.
For christs sake less than a tenner a game, not much more than a packet of fags. Yes have a moan, go on all the protests as I will, but remember this, football fortunes are short term, things can and will change quickly, but if you,re not there , how can you have a say in it?
This is a plea from the heart of a Rovers fan who only wants the best for his beloved club as he has done for the last 38 years:-
Support the players and the club and do all in your power to get rid of the owners and their sham of a management structure.
We,ll all stand there and have a laugh at Burnleys 2000 home crowds back in 1987, but if you shun the club like you say you are going to, don,t look surprised if the tables are turned and we,re in their position within a few years.
My plea may fall on some deaf ears and its their choice at the end of the day, but just be careful what you wish for are the only words of warning I'll hand out.

Do not ever tell me to keep my nose out. Tell Glen to be honest with the fans. Glen is a coward and bully who hides behind people like you. He does not answer questions on here he tells you that he has info that is so important that fans cant possibly be told.
Do not ever believe the the bullsh** that Glen cannot tell you that BRFC could have sanctions imposed for wrong doing because it will allow venkys to know what they may have done.
Now before any body comes on here and say that I am wrong ask the FA about what may happen or ask one of the MP`s that Glen speaks to or ask Glen.
If he succeeds with his action the FA will impose sanctions against our club , That is what he is not being honest about.
Do not post your usual threats and accusations that I am a dingle or somehow involved with Venkys because I`m not I ask you please to just let Glen reply and if I am wrong I will not post again
So Glen Mullan and all your supporters Please
1.Guarantee that BRFC will not have sanctions imposed against the club regardless of who is the owner as a result of any action that you are taking.
2 Accept full responsibility if your actions result in BRFC to be relegated.
3. Allow fans to have their say in what you are doing by way of secret ballot and publish such results.
4 Publish an agenda for your open meeting and allow fans who feel too intimidated to ask questions in person an opportunity to put their concerns in writing.
Glen a personal question you are using the excuse that you will not answer my questions because you feel that it is not the place to do so but you are looking at what your supporters like bill carson are accusing me of so why dont you tell them that this is not the place to discuss.
Your big chance Glen be honest !!!!!!
4:09am Wed 20 Jun 12
fickle fan says...
why is it so hard for you to admit that, a further point is that you have not been open and honest with me, I have had a lot of abuse from your supporters because you didnt provide the above info when I 1st asked will you now admit that sanctions could also be enforced against the club and explain why you could not provide the above when I 1st asked.
You are being very naive about the" enforce a sale" that is why you are you are not being honest with the fans,
Tell the fans how the FA will make the Venkys sell the club, if you think that the FA can put an advert in the LET club for sale and the Venkys will accept an offer for 2m
If rules have been broken they have been broken you cannot put BRFC as a special case if you have asked the FA to look into matters thats what they will do , You cannot pre judge but all this is easy to resolve,
My one question to you is
W ether or not you succeed in what you are trying to prove is a possible out come sanctions against the club which could involve relegation, double relegation points deduction or other damage to the club.
Now that is an easy question to answer and as you are saying that it will be against individuals and not the club can you confirm that the FA has given BRFC immunity.
Glen just be honest because I will support you if the FA can guarantee whistleblowers status for the CLUB.

Now when you speak to a grown up just ask them how the FA are going to make the Venkys sell the club.
But you are one of the mindless fools that follow Glen and will turn up at his meetings and not have a clue what you are supporting.
Just to keep you informed of the line I take, I think Glen is right taking the action he is doing, I would Love SK to leave now, I think the Venkys are probably the worse thing that have EVER happened to the club I passionately love an have supported and watched for a lot longer than most of the supporters on here, every one is entitled to their opinion (which you dont believe in) the question I have asked is with regard to the out come of Glens actions, Glen Mullan is not being honest with fans and has still not answered the point I have raised with regard to relegation, ask yourself why he is avoiding the issue, read through all his answers,
His latest way of avoiding the issue of relegation is to throw in the vote winner of the FA could force Venkys to sell, easy to say impossible to carry out. The owners of BRFC are a uk ltd company and are subject to the civil laws of this country do you think that the FA can write a letter to the venkys and make them hand over the club because they have broken an FA rule !.(and if they have broken a civil law a UK court will not impose an FA sanction)
Have a look at what happened to Swindon .

But we could have Relegation two leagues, monetary, etc and Venkys still be there all I am asking is that Glen Mullan be honest with the fans and tell them the possible outcomes of his actions both positive and negative.
Nobody can possibly know what the FA will do or how the venkys will react but the FA will treat the venkys fairly and if they have not acted with in the rules of the game they will be punished but that punishment will also be fair and will be inline with other cases of wrong doing.
