Bacup begin their defence of the North West Counties League Challenge Cup at Ashton Athletic on October 27. Barnoldswick host Glossop, Padiham play Northwich Villa or Daisy Hill and Colne go to Abbey Hey or Oldham Borough. Nelson play Rochdale and Darwen are at home to Leek.
