They reported it without criticising the fans at all. Supporters of the big clubs seemingly deserve success whilst fans of little old Blackburn should be grateful of what they've got. Talksport went a step further, claiming the Arsenal fans were right and Wenger has to go. The same radio station that called Rovers fans "idiots". Unbelievable.

Just remember the aim of the venky take over was not to expand and progress rovers FC as a PL club but to get venkys india ltd noticed world wide, with lots of publicty by using the name of a PL club in the name of BRFC

I think that they wanted good publicity. The recent Economic Times of India article can't be the sort of publicity they were after. If Rovers are relegated, they come across as incompetent - but I don't think they know what to do. I suspect that they made promises to Steve Kean that they haven't delivered, but if he quits, his career prospects are damaged. If he keeps Rovers up, he may yet have a career in football management. So he isn't going to go.

What's wrong with letting Formica go? a) He has very good technical ability (see his goal against Fulham) and has recently started to show some real promise as a PL regular. He's already our most used player this season. b) He will only get better and is "one for the future" as Kean likes to say. He could potentially be in our midfield for years to come. and c) why would our sodding asking price be £3.5m? So after paying all of the agents fees to get him we're going to let him go for the SAME price? That's just plain idiotic. If we're going to sell him at essentially a LOSS after only playing 20ish games for the club. What's the bleeding point of buying him in the first place? Overall though I just like the lad, and think on a pure football level it's a mistake to let him go when our Premier League lives are at stake. Who we going to replace him with for £3.5m who's any better?

As to Harry, he may be affable and a good manager, but he's still ugly face of this quick fix, easy money attitude which is ruining football in this country.
