Clitheroe look to bounce back to winning ways tonight when they make the journey up the M6 to Lancaster City for their Doodson Sport Cup second round tie.
Carl Garner’s men, who progressed through to this stage after beating Trafford on penalties in the first round last month, had no game on Saturday but are determined to return to form at Giant Axe.
Since Garner was named as the Evo-Stik League First Division North manager of the month for September, his men have failed to win a game.
Meanwhile, tonight’s opponents face a possible FA probe after their FA Cup third qualifying round tie with FC Halifax Town was marred by crowd trouble on Saturday.
Players were taken off the pitch and play suspended for around 20 minutes after violence erupted shortly after Halifax opened the scoring in the first five minutes.
After police were called to Giant Axe the game re-started and Halifax ran out 3-0 winners.
