NELSON slipped to their seventh defeat of the season but they put up a real battled against the NWCL Division One leaders.
In turned out to be a game that was decided by three goals in the space of six minutes.
Lee Harrison put Wigan ahead in the 31st minute only for Javeed Mohammed to equalise in the 35th only for Stephen Kay to net two minutes later to end Nelson hopes of a draw.
