FORMER Blackburn Rovers full back Lars Jacobsen believes he will be more suited to West Ham United’s style of play after completing the move to Upton Park on transfer deadline day last week.
The Danish international could make his debut against Premier League champions Chelsea on Saturday, after limited first team opportunities at Ewood, and is relishing playing West Ham’s so-called ‘passing game’.
He said: “That was what I was used to, keeping the ball on the ground and playing out from the back.
"Of course, you cannot be naive, especially in the Premier League and there are many different styles.
“The way West Ham play though is how I want to play and get the most out of my ability. ”
