Verdict due on Blackburn Rovers striker's work permit bid


Blackburn Rovers are expecting news shortly on the result of their appeal against David Hoilett’s work permit refusal.

The 19-year-old Canadian striker impressed on loan at German side St Pauli last season and Rovers want to bring him into their first-team squad for the final year of his Ewood contract.

I could never get a work permit for a new conract for him on football manager - at least it shows it's realistic!
