BURNLEY will face a Battle of Britain tie in the Europa League second qualifying round after being drawn against Aberdeen.
The Clarets will travel to Pittodrie on Thursday, July 26, for their first taste of European football in 51 years. Derek McInnes will then bring the Dons to Turf Moor a week later, on August 2.
The fixture isn't the one most of the Clarets faithful were looking for, with dreams of a foray into the continent quashed.
It could also prove to be a difficult task for Sean Dyche's side, with Aberdeen finishing second in the Scottish Premiership last season.
