Nick Pope 7
Another very solid display. Confident in coming off his line again, good save from Rondon at end of the first half
Matt Lowton 7
Wasted a couple of good crossing opportunities but made up for it with a smart pass to Wood for second goal
James Tarkowski 6
Beaten a little too easily by Rondon for his goal, but looked confident after his England debut during the break
Ben Mee 8
Another excellent defensive display. Handled Rondon well throughout despite physical disadvantage
Stephen Ward 7
Coped well with pacey threat of Phillips in second half after early scare, but not seen offensively as often as usual
Aaron Lennon 8
Assist for the first goal with a good bit of wing play and a threat throughout when he ran with the ball
Jack Cork 8
Helped to set the tempo for the Clarets in midfield. Saw plenty of the ball and used it well
Ashley Westwood 8 (Man of the Match)
Shining in Steven Defour’s absence in central midfield and has taken on that role with confidence and poise. Nobody on either side made more passes than Westwood’s 69 and he regularly passed forward as well, finding Barnes and Wood in promising positions
Georges-Kevin Nkoudou 6
Started brightly but drifted out of the game and lacked an end product on his Premier League debut
Ashley Barnes 8
In the form of his life right now. A stunning hooked volley to put the Clarets ahead was his fourth in four games
Chris Wood 7
On the scoresheet for a third game in a row, at the second attempt, but missed a couple of decent first half chances
