ROVERS are back on the cup trail this weekend and for the first time since 1979 they will be starting their campaign in the first round.
Barnet are the visitors to Ewood Park and it is an occasion that will lack the glamour of the 1928 final at Wembley against Huddersfield, when two goals from Jack Roscamp and a strike from Tommy McLean landed Rovers a 3-1 victory in front of over 92,000 fans.
