BURNLEY midfielder Jeff Hendrick has pulled out of the Republic of Ireland squad for the World Cup qualifiers with Georgia and Serbia through injury.
But Hendrick's fellow Claret Jonathan Walters remains in the squad.
Both Burnley players missed the weekend draw with Tottenham and Hendrick's thigh strain has forced him out of contention for the double header.
Ireland manager Martin O'Neill will keep his fingers crossed over Walters, who was unable to train fully as he nurses the ankle problem which kept him out of the Wembley draw.
However he, like keeper Sheffield Wednesday Keiren Westwood and Hull midfielder David Meyler, is expected to join his team-mates on Tuesday.
Everton's James McCarthy is out with a hamstring problem.
O'Neill has reduced his provisional 39-man squad to 25 which also includes Burnley trio Kevin Long, Robbie Brady and Stephen Ward.
