BURNLEY will pay for the coaches that will take supporters to Ewood Park for the Clarets' Carabao Cup second round clash with East Lancashire rivals Blackburn Rovers.

The first convoy of coaches will leave Turf Moor at 6pm, with limited planning time meaning that will be the only pick-up point for coaches from the club.

Supporters clubs’ coaches will meet at Rishton (A678, Blackburn Road, nr East Lancashire Sailing Club, BB1 4ET, facing Whitebirk roundabout).

Fans are urged to arrive at their departure point 15 minutes before the coaches set off and tickets purchased will include a voucher, which includes a departure time and zone location for pick up.

A Burnley spokesman said: "Supporters are requested to present relevant coach and match tickets when boarding their allocated coach. Supporters are also asked to adhere to the ticketing sales policy, otherwise they may be refused access to the transport provided.

"Food and soft drinks can be taken on board the coaches, but Blackburn Rovers have implemented a ‘no-bottle policy’ within the Ewood Park stadium.

"This includes glass and plastic bottles. However, flasks are permitted.

"Therefore, supporters are requested to leave bottles either in the waste bins provided at Turf Moor, or at the turnstiles at Ewood Park.

"No alcohol will be permitted into the North East car park, and you may be searched on entry.

"The James Hargreaves (lower tier) concourse will be open until 6.30pm for toilet facilities and refreshments."

The Clarets have been allocated 5,000 tickets for the game, but the first 3,000 will be sold in the lower tier of the Darwen End, and only once those are sold will upper tier tickets be released for sale.

Season ticket holders with 3,000 loyalty points can buy their tickets online from 5pm tonight or from 9.15am tomorrow at the ticket office.

All season ticket holders will be able to buy a ticket from 9.15am on Thursday and general sale will take place from 9.15am on Monday.

All ticket must be collected from Turf Moor ticket collection point on Harry Potts Way.
