IT was a night to remember for Robbie Brady in Dublin as he won three awards at the FAI's annual awards dinner, including Ireland's goal of the year.
Brady scored twice for Martin O'Neill's side during Euro 2016 but it was his late header against Italy that scooped the award.
It was a good goal but the award may have been handed out for the drama of the strike as much as the technique, with the header sealing victory over the Azzurri and progress to the knockout stages.
With just under six minutes remaining Wes Hoolahan's cross was perfect for Brady to head into the back of the net.
The Burnley winger went on to give Ireland the lead from the penalty spot against hosts France in the last 16 before going out 2-1.
