ROVERS marked David Dunn’s last appearance for the club by beating this weekend’s opponents, Ipswich, 3-2 at Ewood Park on the final day of last season.
Jordan Rhodes got his customary goal against his former club to bring Rovers level before Craig Conway and Rudy Gestede, with his final strike for the club, fired them into a two-goal lead; a lead play-off bound Ipswich halved late on when Daryl Murphy netted his second of the match, from the penalty spot.
