TWO of Burnley’s early fixtures have been changed for broadcast purposes.

The Clarets’ visit to Leeds United on the opening day on August 8 has been given the earlier kick-off time of 12.30pm, after being earmarked by Sky Sports.

Their game at Rotherham United’s New York Stadium in October has also been altered by a day, moving to Friday, October 2, kick-off 7.45pm.

The televised fixtures for October and November are due to be announced later this month.

Brighton v Nottingham Forest will be the first game to kick-off the 2015/16 season after being brought forward to Friday, August 7, kick-off 7.45pm.

Meanwhile, Burnley have added another pre-season friendly to their summer schedule, with a trip to play Rangers at Ibrox arranged for July 21 (kick-off 7.5pm).

It will be the first time the Clarets have faced the Scottish club since September 1922, when they lost 2-0 in a benefit game for Alex Archibald.

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is friends with new Rangers boss Mark Warburton.

It is the sixth pre-season friendly to be confirmed by the Clarets.

Friday, July 10: Étoile Carouge FC at the Stade de la Fontenette in Carouge (7pm). Pay on gate: CHF 10 (approx £7);

Saturday, July 18: Accrington Stanley at the Store First Stadium (3pm). Ticket prices to be confirmed;

Saturday, August 1: Bradford City at Turf Moor in Michael Duff Testimonial game (3pm). Ticket details to be confirmed.
