CHELSEA boss Jose Mourinho fears four of his World Cup stars will not be ready to face Burnley in the opening game of the Premier League season on August 18.
Chelsea lost 3-0 at Werder Bremen on Sunday in a friendly that saw Didier Drogba make his first appearance since returning to the club.
But World Cup winning German international Andre Schurrle only returned to training yesterday along with Brazilian trio Oscar, Willian and Ramires.
“It worries me because the boys don’t have time to get ready for the start of Premier League,” Mourinho said.
But the Blues boss will still be able to call on plenty of talent for the season opener with new signings Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa expected to make their Chelsea debuts along with Spanish left back Filipe Luis.
Those three combined cost a shade under £75million while Drogba, who arrived on a free transfer, could make his second Blues debut.
