BURNLEY keeper Tom Heaton has become the latest player to extend his deal at Turf Moor after penning a new three-year contract.

Heaton still had a year left on his previous deal but has now signed a new contract to keep him with the Clarets until the summer of 2017.

The 28-year-old follows Ben Mee, Scott Arfield and Kieran Trippier in signing an extended contract this summer.

Another piece of good news. What a consistent keeper he was last season.

Indeed. I met him briefly yesterday at the club shop and he probably could have chatted for hours if I had had the time. Genuine bloke, that said, each of his team mates that I have spoken to have been the same.

Why are you always on Burnley articles? Shouldn't you worried that our gormless manager Bowyer keeps getting League One freebies? At least Burnley are going places, however we are staying down forever. But there's no need to get all upset about it.

Hes a simpleton with no goals in life. He is a complete waste of time with nothing to do except bore the $hit out of us. Better still dont read what he puts just give him the thumbs down.

You never had relegation clauses in your contracts and look at the mess you are in now. Massive debt and going down, lol
Happy days Barry the Tranny.
