BLACKBURN Rovers boss Gary Bowyer is hopeful Corry Evans will be fit to start Saturday’s visit of Ipswich Town to Ewood Park after the midfielder came off with a dead leg in last night’s 3-3 home draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Bowyer, whose squad has been riddled by injuries all season, said: “It’s a game of football for Blackburn Rovers so someone has to go off injured.
“Hopefully it’s not too serious and he can come into contention for Saturday because I thought he was terrific again tonight – him and Lee Williamson.”
