YOUNG Blackburn Rovers midfielder Josh Morris has extended his loan stay at League Two promotion pushers Fleetwood Town until the end of the season.
The left-sided Morris, 22, has made seven appearances for Graham Alexander's men since making an initial loan move last month.
Fleetwood boss Alexander said: "Josh has settled in really well since he joined us from Blackburn Rovers last month.
“He is playing very well and he is causing the opposition problems down the left-hand side of midfield. He has shown he is a young player with a bright future ahead of him.
“He shows a lot of quality on the ball and he is a good part of the squad. I am pleased he is staying and we thank Blackburn for allowing us to keep him.”
The window for loan signings closes at 5pm today.
There have been reports in South Wales today that Rovers are interested in signing Cardiff City midfielder Don Cowie on loan.
