PADIHAM twice came from behind to pick up a vital point in their fight for survival in a match the Storks played 50 minutes with 10 men after Jack Overson was red-carded.

Isaac Kusaloka gave the visitors a seventh minute lead with a chipped a shot over Padiham keeper Sean Davis.

The Storks drew level on the half hour mark when Louis Mayers rammed in an equaliser.

Padiham suffered a setback six minutes from half time when defender Overson was sent off.

Prescot regained the lead 11 minutes into the second half through Phil Bannister but the resolute Storks hit back in the 72nd minute when, following a corner, captain Martin Parkes scrambled the ball home.

Padiham thought they had won it at the death when Ash Carter headed in a Chris Turner free kick but the goal was ruled offside.
