PADIHAM could welcome a bumper travelling support to the Arbories tomorrow when they host Darlington in Evo-Stik First Division North.

Darlington sit fourth in the table and have a large fanbase, with almost 1,000 watching Wednesday’s home defeat to Lancaster City.

Padiham, under boss Steve Wilkes, are 19th in the table after Saturday’s 4-1 home loss to East Lancashire rivals Ramsbottom United.

The Rams, who are seventh, make the trip to struggling Prescot Cables tomorrow.

Eleventh-placed Clitheroe are away to Northwich Victoria, who are managed by former Stockport and Port Vale boss Jim Gannon following the exit of Lee Ashcroft.

In the Premier Division, leaders Chorley travel to relegation-threatened Witton Albion hoping to bounce back from a surprise defeat at home to Rushall Olympic on Tuesday night.

The Magpies missed the chance to move six points clear at the top with Skelmersdale not in action in midweek.

In the North West Counties Premier Division, eighth-placed Colne are at home to St Helens Town.

Barnoldswick Town travel to Congleton Town.

Bacup and Rossendale Borough sit in the relegation zone, albeit with games in hand over most of their rivals at the bottom, and have the tricky task of a trip to fourth-placed Bootle.

Nelson will bid to edge closer to the 100-goal mark in the First Division when they entertain Widnes Vikings.

The Admirals have now scored 92 goals in only 27 league matches this season, and are expected to move well past the century mark in their final nine matches of the campaign.

Fourteenth-placed AFC Darwen host Eccleshall.
