Bournemouth v Burnley: How the Clarets rated

First published in Football

Suzanne Geldard marks the Clarets in their draw at Bournemouth...

Tom HEATON: Struggled with his kicking at times because of the conditions. Made good second half saves 7

Kieran TRIPPIER: Bournemouth's bid to stop at source resulted in a few bumps and bruises for right back 7

Michael DUFF: Kept the front two well marshalled in open play. Limited chances 8

Jason SHACKELL: Great partnership with Duff. Covered well when Cherries used the channels 8

Ben MEE: Made good decisions under pressure, brought ball out from the back well 7

Michael KIGHTLY: No shortage of effort but lacked the necessary quality in final third 5

Dean MARNEY: Had a hand in the equaliser with a flick back to Wallace. Supplied Ings with rare chance 7

David JONES: Played at his own game by Bournemouth, who pressed high up the pitch 6

Scott ARFIELD: Dipped below his usual standards and had little impact on the game on tricky pitch 5

Sam VOKES: Not an easy return to first club for striker, forced to come deep for the ball 6

Danny INGS: Kept quieter than he would prefer on his 'homecoming'. Chances at a premium 6

SUBS: ROSS WALLACE (for Kightly 61), KEITH TREACY (for Arfield 61), ASHLEY BARNES (for Vokes 82)
Subs not used: Alex Cisak, Junior Stanislas, David Edgar, Kevin Long

Since Burnley don't have any supporters, do you mind if me and my friends use this space to talk about the weather ? Rather wet down south isn't it, probably all that rain they are getting. Not too bad up north though had a few bright spells today.

One minute the conifers are swaying left, next minute they sway right, totally unpredictable.

You may be shocked to find people have jobs, families, homes, other interests. For many, football is a great distraction on the weekend and not something to be lived 24/7. Go out into the world daan, there's a lot of cool stuff out there. Who knows, you may even meet a girl or a boy depending upon your leanings.
