Paul Wheelock's ratings:

Paul Robinson 7: A calming presence on his return to the side, there was absolutely nothing he could do to prevent Derby’s equaliser.

Adam Henley 6: After Jamie Paterson one week earlier, Simon Dawkins provided another serious examination of the young full back.

Grant Hanley 7: Captain in the absence of the absent Scott Dann, the Scotsman did all he could to keep Derby at bay.

Matt Kilgallon 7: Impressive on his return to the side, proved there will be life after Dann if a Premier League club comes calling.

Tommy Spurr 7: Kept Jamie Ward quiet but was put on the back foot after Patrick Bamford and Conor Sammon were introduced.

Tom Cairney 7: Spread the play beautifully in the first half but tired towards the end of the match, leaving Henley exposed.

Chris Taylor 7: The industrious midfielder made some intelligent runs in the first half to get on the end of Cairney’s passes.

Jason Lowe 6: Full of running, he and substitute Lee Williamson could not stop Rams replacement Will Hughes from dictating the game.

Ben Marshall 6: Set up Rudy Gestede from one free kick and fired over another before going off with a suspected ankle-ligament damage.

Rudy Gestede 8: The £200,000 bargain buy dominated the Derby defence in the air and was in the right place at the right time to score.

Jordan Rhodes 7: Once again showed he has more to his game than goals, for the second home match running he set up Gestede to head in.
