There will be 4,000+ there on the night, despite it being live on tv....that's more than a third of Burnleys average home gate, even though they have been in the top three most of the season!!!! ....Have I beat a dingle to be the first to post on here?

Yeah, well you better make the most of visiting a ground like The Etihad, as you will never play there again - not ever!

In real terms for a game that actually counts, you gonks took a massive 1074 to Yeovil (Your first ever visit) - we took 1800.

Just BIGGER and better.

We take 3,500 to City and we're glory hunters. If you took 3,500 it's because you're the best supported club in the galaxy.

According to charlie boy, taking 6 more to Yeovil makes you bigger & better, yet when the never to be matched 35 year domination is brought up that doesn't count.

You are actually funny you lot, without even realising it. What makes it even more hilarious is you're actually not joking and genuinely believe the sh*t you post on here....

Don't forget our season has been very up and down so to take over a thousand to Yeovil wasn't to bad, Burnleys home gates are laughable considering their league position. Just being straight, on the pitch you have gone way above expectations, your doing so well I thought you would all be on the Burnley site complimenting your team.

As far as attendance does, as pointed out on numerous occasions, per head population Burnley attract the bigger crowd.

Desperate, jealous, struggling, debt-ridden Blackburn Rovers. Enjoy your whupping!

As far as attendances are concerned, as pointed out on numerous occasions, the per head population argument is a complete nonsense due to the much larger ethnic population of Blackburn which MASSIVELY distorts those figures.

Desperate - to win a derby fixture

Jealous - of being humiliated time & time again and spending 3 and a half decades in the shadow of it's bitter enemy

Struggling - to half fill the asbestos riddled ground despite this mythical massive support and winning the league in September

Debt-ridden - I'll give you that one bunny boiler but I'd rather be debt ridden with the memories than a dingle who thinks because everyone in Bonleh has a car mini-kit makes them well supported

But I thought your owners were Burnley through and through? I thought they cared for the club and it's loyal massive support? If so, why don't they make tickets more affordable? Could it be that you're actually not as well supported as you like to believe, or that the board at Burnley are only interested in lining their own pockets - or a bit of both?

Distorted figure? Rubbish, what about your own excuse of Burnley's superior catchment area and you then cite towns like Brierfield, Nelson and Colne, all of whom have similar ethnic populations to Blackburn.

The thing is you have had YEARS of looking down on Burnley, patronising us about us being in The Chumpionship, rubbing our noses in it and generally being arrogant scumbags.
The boot is well and truly on the other foot and has been for two years and don't you just HATE it, you absolutely can't handle the banter that is now being thrown at you by Burnley fans and have no way of dealing with it - aside form shouting 35 years inanely at anyone who will listen.

Quick question - would you swap tomorrow's replay for an extra 13 points and being in an automatic promotion spot just like the Mighty Clarets are?

Burnley's incredible run against rivals Blackburn Rovers over 14 league games during a period in both clubs history when the playing field was considered level...

In 14 consecutive league games Burnley won 10 and drew 2.

06 Oct 1962 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 2-3
02 Apr 1963 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers W 1-0
01 Oct 1963 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers W 3-0
19 Oct 1963 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 1-2
10 Oct 1964 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers D 1-1
24 Feb 1965 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 1-4
09 Oct 1965 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers L 1-4
01 Jan 1966 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 0-2
27 Dec 1976 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley D 2-2
08 Apr 1977 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers W 3-1
26 Dec 1977 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers L 2-3
27 Mar 1978 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 0-1
26 Dec 1978 Burnley v Blackburn Rovers W 2-1
14 Apr 1979 Blackburn Rovers v Burnley W 1-2

Makes a complete mockery of the no-dads 7 wins over a 34 year period during which Jack Walker was shamefully conned out of £100 million+.

Complete and utter domination.

A record NEVER TO BE EQUALLED and it belongs to Burnley FC. I think this puts the 'who is the better team' argument to bed.

In summary, you've been owned. Get back in your box retard.

So there's no dingles in Tod, Accy, Bacup, Barnoldswick, Padiham or Rossendale then?
Having 13 points extra half way through a season doesn't mean the boot isn't on the other foot whatsoever. The boot will be on the other foot when you're 2 divisions higher, are champions of England and have gone 3 and half decades without defeat to us and that will NEVER EVER happen.
We rubbed your noses in it because we all know that hating Rovers is bred into dingles. It's what your taught from day one - hate Blackburn Rovers. So we laugh at your infatuation and pure hatred which is there for one reason and one reason only - ENVY.

Yawn. Lets not get into a numbers debate with the illiterate freaks from Yorkshire. Its a fact that people from Burnley are less intelligent than elsewhere in the country (hence the nations worst GCSE results by some distance). The concept of 35 years doesn't register in their feeble minds.

Here's another fact. Burnley were getting sub-10,000 gates at the start of the season until the part timers started buying tickets when they started doing well. Even now, despite having been in the top two for months on end and with three to four thousand band wagon jumpers they are still getting smaller gates than Blackburn.

Shame.

Makes a complete mockery of the no-dads 7 wins over a 34 year period during which Jack Walker was shamefully conned out of £100 million+.

Thanks for trying though x
Getting your excuses in early again are we Mungo?

The boot was on the other foot last season as we all laughed at your pathetic scramble to safety on the last day of the season narrowly avoiding the drop into League One. 17th place, how very embarrassing.

And prior to this the legendary BRFC Relegation parties.

In fact we've been looking down on you retards for 2 years now, and as explained before, your vast finances of years gone by makes that fact all the more hilarious.

Yeah, well you better make the most of visiting a ground like The Etihad, as you will never play there again - not ever!

In real terms for a game that actually counts, you gonks took a massive 1074 to Yeovil (Your first ever visit) - we took 1800.

Just BIGGER and better.
See you in the play offs Charlie!!
I hope you do see Charlie in the play offs, bagging a 90th minute winner for QPR against you at Wembley .

Same old pathetic arguments then. Burnley simply charge too much to watch football in hard times. Better pricing such as you have at Blackburn could surely only help attract bigger crowds.
The Burnley support is clearly there as recent past stats prove. The question has to be why charge prem prices at Championship level when you already know by doing so you won't achieve much beyond a half full ground?

Fair play to Blackburn for trying on pricing, now you are trying to push for a play off spot perhaps you will fill more than half your ground as well? Either way don't think either club's attendances offer much to brag about.

In fact we've been looking down on you retards for 2 years now, and as explained before, your vast finances of years gone by makes that fact all the more hilarious.

Whatever next for Laughingstock FC?
Vast finances? I don't recall Blackburn Rovers having vast finances when we were 2 divisions above Myth FC? Why don't you research that Mungo......
No, you didn;t have vast finances, which probably explains why you only got an average crowd of 6k despite being in the second tier on doesn't it - no plastics?

You have the CHEAPEST tickets in the league and yet you struggle to attract 13000, despite having a larger catchment area - research that one gimpboy? You lot still protesting and only going to away games? Oh and by the way, we take an average of 300 more fans to away games this season that you boys.
Tell you what, I'll humor you if no one else will.

Lets just pretend Burnley are the best supported club in the world and have won more trophies than that naughty Blackburn Rovers club down the road. Lets pretend that 1960 was last week and that everyone in Blackburn is riddled in bitterness and hate for Burnley because they have 13 points more in January and took 6 more fans to Yeovil.

35 years - Means nothing
13 points - Means everything

Don't bother researching how Burnley once won more throw-ins than Blackburn 3 centuries ago because I'm done crying with laughter for one day. You dingle guys are the best. Keep up the good work Dexys Midnight Runner.....

As far as attendance does, as pointed out on numerous occasions, per head population Burnley attract the bigger crowd.

Desperate, jealous, struggling, debt-ridden Blackburn Rovers. Enjoy your whupping!
You predict a 5-0 win for City. Thank you for your compliment. A team like City, who score for fun against most Prem teams only manage to score 5 against the Rovers?well played the Rovers, bear in mind that a mid table Prem team in the middle of a bad run with 5 reserves easily scored 4 against your motley crew. Bet your glad your lot are not playing City,we would be predicting double figures for City.

I find it somewhat annoying that Dingles infest this site, insulting and abusing Rovers and our fans, and indeed insulting also Jack Walker's memory in an offensive manner.
In return, myself a Rovers fan, attempt to return the banter which is then deleted, presumably after complaints from the original protagonists.
I would appreciate some correspondence from a moderator on this matter.

On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. Defeat pretty much guaranteed no doubt on that, but Rovers fans do like to party in the face of adversity. I remember semi-finals against Arsenal and Chelsea recently when the volume of noise from Rovers fans actually increased as defeat loomed!

We'll enjoy tomorrow, Uncle Jack will be remembered and we will walk away knowing our players gave their all. Proud.

Proud.
What you mean is you find it annoying that we are now giving back a little bit of the ribbing that we've taken off you goons for so long, and you just don't like it. Crying to the 'moderator'? That's pretty pathetic.

Parties eh? I also remember your relegation party too, both of them in fact. Great days, but I still believe the best it yet to come...

Jack is long gone, and that's not being disrespectful, its simply pointing out that you need to accept your position as the plaything of Indian Chicken farmers. You're Venky property now, and let's be honest you deserve each other.

Desperate, jealous, struggling, debt-ridden Blackburn Rovers. Enjoy your whupping!

Oh please don't start me off again, I've only just stopped crying laughing at your days 'work' which, as usual, has seen you continue this comical obsession with our football club.

We may have ribbed you sweetypie but there's a big difference between ribbing and dedicating your entire life to a newspaper website because of this crazed infatuation you have.

I suspect you're getting bullied in your office 'job' by a Rovers fan and use this as a means of revenge on her.

Well , I notce on the Labrokes site they are offering -

City 1/8 , Rovers 8/1 , draw 18/1 .

Hmmm , now , sadly , I don't think Rovers will win , though I
agree we will come home with our heads held high .

Tempted to slap a coupla hundred on City , for a quick 10% return !!

But that would be disloyal of me .

So....what thoughts on Jordan Rhodes being first goalscorer ?
That's 12/1 - worth a fiver surely ?

There's no need to go back to the 1980's for laughable dingle attendances.
13th Jan 2009, with the inbreds riding high in the table during the promotion season, an FA Cup replay vs QPR brought a massive HOME ATTENDANCE of 3,760! By coincidence roughly the same amount of Rovers fans going AWAY to City. Says it all really.

20 years on and you still can't "get over" Jack Walker. It just goes to show your deep seated hatred, envy or what ever you want to call it, of the club of which he was a fan. You really do need help. You poor excuse of a human being.
And by the way, I actually was alive the last time Burnley won anything. I dare say you weren't, hence your sheer frustration of being a Burnley fan.

Whatever next for Laughingstock FC?
yet you only manage to finish with 4 more points?.and you made yourself safe the week beforehand !!!.....wow you lot should get the old open top bus out.......would probably need the UK's wd40 reserves to get it moving again thru lack of use ...tin pot Yorkshire club
