Kieran Trippier 8: Cleared McCann goal bound header from a corner off line.
Michael Duff 7: Wrongly penalised for twice winning the ball in first half. Limped off in second half.
Jason Shackell 7: Kept Clarets organised throughout game, and experience helped them see it out.
Danny Lafferty 6: Battled on bravely at the end to stop a cross, despite struggling with an injury.
