THE Clarets have announced a price freeze on ‘early bird’ season ticket prices for 2014/15, whatever happens this season.

Burnley, who sit second just two points behind leaders QPR, are well placed for a promotion push with just over half of the campaign to go.

The club has also introduced a 12-month rolling direct debit scheme for the first time in an effort to spread the cost of supporters’ football fix, from £30 a month.

The price freeze for next season applies to ‘early bird’ tickets in all stands and for all age categories, meaning the cheapest adult seat is £299.

A club statement read: “This price promise comes regardless of promotion status and guarantees your seat for next season at the cheapest possible price.

“We should add there’s no need to panic, as the ‘early bird’ deadline remains at March 31, 2014.”

The 12-month direct debit offer is only available until January 15, 2014. After this, direct debit reduces by one month, each month.

The scheme is administered by Zebra Finance=.
