IT’S fantastic to see two of my old clubs doing so well at the top of the Championship, and I think tomorrow’s game could be Burnley’s hardest match of the season so far.

I’m thinking of going down to the game, and I’m wondering which club tie to put on!

I hope Burnley and Leicester can be the top two at the end of the season, although of course there’s a long way still to get yet.

Leicester are a good side and were my favourites to win the league at the start of the season – as they were for a lot of people.

They have had a good season and they’re strong at home.

I know we’ve played QPR but this will be our hardest game so far because it’s away from home.

We will have to keep that David Nugent quiet, because he always seems to score against us!

But Leicester have lost their last two matches, so maybe it’s not the worst time to play them and we can get the three points.

That would be a fantastic result, although I would settle for a point now.

It was good to get the 1-0 win against Barnsley on Saturday.

I don’t think we were at our best, but hopefully we can go on another run again now.

It will be difficult, though, because I still think we’re a little bit short of players.

At this time of year you get injuries and suspensions. Danny Ings missed a game and I don’t think he did a lot when he came back on Saturday.

We still ideally need three or four more players.

Definitely we need a striker. I’ve read about people like Sylvan Ebanks-Blake and Jay Bothroyd being linked, I’m not sure they’re better than what we’ve already got, but we need cover and they are the sort of players that could maybe provide that. Certainly Ebanks-Blake has a decent scoring record.

I think we probably need to add a couple in midfield too, at times we seem to be lacking in the centre.

But Dean Marney looks set to be back from injury tomorrow and he has done really well this season.

Maybe he’s what we’ve been missing.
