VICTORIOUS Thorpe United Under-14s beat Garforth Villa 3-1 in the final of the Barkston Ash Cup at Selby Town’s Flaxley Road ground.
Thorpe forged ahead when Jordan Emery’s corner was headed in by Ben Clowes and Corey Littlefield added a second after exchanging passes with Richard Buckthorpe.
The lead was 3-0 at the break as Clowes and man-of-thematch Littlefield combined to create a goal for Buckthorpe.
Villa pulled a goal back from a corner, but Thorpe saw out the remainder of the game to take the trophy.
