No murphy in squad, no Orr in team - fine by me!!!
Was worried they would both play after MA's comments today.

Good Changes, I feel Gomes to start and give leon and campbell as super sub in place of Gomes and Pedersen after 65 mts.

Looks like the only knackerless wonders round here are the season ticket surrender monkeys.
Murphy not in squad and Orr on the bench as well. Personally I would have driven Orr to the beach to see his twin brother Eee. Then they could both walk up and down the prom eating carrots. Both well deserved decisions. Now we might have a chance of picking up the occasional points. Lets hope it starts tonight.

Delighted that Murphy and Orr have no part in this game. Long may it continue!

Survival not the Play Offs is looking ike the task in hand for Rovers now.

Three away league games in a row and no goals as well as Leeds at Ewood - begs the question where are we going. We dont seem able to create chances and that is a worry

Is the FA Cup a distraction because we are now only 7 points adrift of the bottom three and if they dont pick up points against Burnley & Blackpool at home - the fear might become a reality

Untested manager and idiots in management, What the hell do you expect?
Only when they're all gone and our club is starting out again from scratch will it ever change.

boltons subs made the difference in the end

it was clear that a single goal was going to settle the game. instead of being proactive, appleton seemed to be scared to make real changes fearing that it may make rovers play worse, only to lose in the last sceond, typical,, he only brought on best, who is clearly not match fit and preferred over gomes the third highest scorer at rovers, appleton is yet to show that he is capable of making those telling tactical changes that would have got the goal to win them the game, campbell and rhodes partnership is clearly not working yet he persist with it, worrying thing is they have failed to score in 4 of the last 5 games, he was a bore draw specialist now he s just a losing specialist.

appletons already chalked up 5 defeats in the league already, should have really been 6, could have easily been trounced at brighton, 6 defeats got berg the sack, this is the price you pay by putting a novice in charge, no creativity, shipping players out and replacing them with unwanted players that havent played for their parent clubs, instead of dominating teams rovers are being bossed in nearly every game and hanging on for dear life just to scrape a draw to teams that arent anything special

I have been a Supporter for many years, and stayed away from social networks regarding are beloved club!! BUT, this surely has to stop?? Ok, you all talked about Steve kean out, and hopefully replaced by another top manager!! He was defeated once in the championship to at the time the league leaders Middlesbrough. And then another blow from shebby mingher and the fans, and he finally walked. Since then the only consistent manager has been Gary bowyer, in between berg and Appleton!!! Lets get a manager that plays a team to win, and not to please himself. Rochina, Gomes, Nunes,... Where have they gone all of a sudden? They were undefeated at the start of the season, rochina is quality and now out on loan??Gomes had 6 games 4 goals and assists, Nunes one of the most exciting wingers of the current time. DROPPED!! Can someone please tell me why? We don't need all these loanees all the time, we need a manager with a full head of hair and mentality to win a match and not worry about his own ego!! Gary Bowyer should be the manager, his been at the club for years, and plays the team to get the three points!!!

Beating the dingles? Dingles admitting they are inferior? Dingles admitting they are a smaller club? Dingles admitting they are sour? Dingles admitting they are forever in our shadow? Dingles admitting Ewood is the better ground? Dingles admitting Jack Walker is the best thing East Lancashire has ever produced? Dingles admitting their twang is p@@s funny? The Dingles admitting that 34 years of hurt can not be rectified by being above us in the league temporarily without even beating us is the above mentioned phase of history? Dingles admitting they always try the famous Suicide route when we have always been top dogs (not that that even bothers me but just waiting for the comments lol.) Dingles admitting that genuine Blackburn fans actually wanted you to stay up that day, through pure sorrow (we love an underdog) and finally and quite simply We are the most successful club in East Lancs. See you on the 17th guys, whatever the result, history will take some turning around.

Oh by the way slag me for my spelling, or indeed anything else you can, however you can not remove 34 years of hurt.

I don't usully post anything like this but some of the banter is just ****, and I will openly admit that Burnley are my second club, as my late father followed both teams until the 70's and he then became a real rover, the reason? It rests with him xx

Well said Leebo004 and passingfootball. Just got back from Bolton and, though we fought hard and were unlucky to lose, both sides were poor. Stewart and DJ unimpressive. Much more preferable would be Rochina, Formica, Gomes, Nunes or Vukevich despite their deficiencies. Lets look at the managerial stats.

Extrapolating their points when in charge over the season to date (36 league matches) - had we stuck with Kean (W4, D2, L1) we would have had 72 points and been top of the league. Similarly Gary Bowyer (W2, D1, L0) 75 points and top. Eric Black (W2, D3, L1) 54 points and 7th, Hening Berg (W1, D3, L6) 22 points and bottom, Michael Appleton (W2, D3, L5) 32 points and bottom.

So - the manager the fans (and Shebby) forced out would could have had us top. Instead the two "permanent" managers appointed by the clueless ones would both have had us bottom.

For his own sake and the sake of the club he should just admit that he is not op to the job and go NOW. Beg Rochina, Formica, Nunes and Vucevij to come back, persuade Gary Bowyer that he CAN manage and let's finish the season on a positive note. I will gladly start a fund to pay Appletons compensation with a sposored bike ride to Wembley.

There are Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics Johnny Rover.
Winston Churchill said that a lot of years ago now -but still the same applies today. Kean is the top manager (laugh out loud, fall off chair) in your fantasy scenario - but his games to win ratio (factual) is still worse than Appleton's.

If there were no other people left in the world apart from Kean and a blind, mute Martian, then Kean would still be the worst manager in the world.

We were unlucky to lose, the team shape was better the spirit and desire were there and they fought for each other and the club. Millwall and Europe here we come!

hello all...!
Do you think its easy to attract players to BRFC..???
In my opionion...

Clubs tend to want to keep their best players and if selling will place a massive transfer fee which is usually astronomical even for a **** player...!

clubs tend seldom to sell to other championship sides...! unless its for loads of money...5M - 8M...!

strong established managers with reputations are more likely to attract good players...!

MA can only hope to attract lessor attractive players to BRFC as hes got No chance with established players.!

It is clear, That MA connections are with WBA and portsmouth and not any good players to be had with either..!

One player who is good was the Peterborogh player who's gone to Hull.
thats the winger we should have gone for..! George boyd to feed our striker which is def lacking...!!!

instead we had no option but to have the player (leftovers) who's place hes taken at hull...!!
